and quite possibly both. In any case, either possibility is a source of potential amusement, and definitely the sort of thing the object of Ket's attention ought to know about. ]

[Actually, hilariously, Ene was the one who told him to call her that specifically because of his extraordinary talent for name-mangling. So she doesn't notice the attempt to embarrass him at first. Or that mocking expression that would clue her in on the joke. All she does is note with some amusement that he's still using that title and wonders how long this joke can play out, going to type a casual response not to worry about it...

But wait. How do you just accidentally forward something to a complete stranger? Hmmmm.]

Oops~ That's some mistake, sending private messages to strangers like that. Don't be too embarrassed, texting is hard for all old people.

Of course they wouldn't. I'm just a very passionate fan. Oh yeah... I never did tell you how I took down three bullies at once when I saw them messing with our class's pet rabbit. It was such a long time ago, but the memories are still something to laugh about.

[Oh thank goodness, Mary is okay! Ene had been trying to check up on her, but there was so much chaos going on outside and so many ghosts harassing her and everyone else, and messing with their technology, she's hardly had a moment to breathe.

But getting a text from Mary is such a relief, and Ene drops what she's doing to reply immediately. She should be able to lie through texts, right? She can't choke on typing. Or even just half truths will do...]

Mary! I'm not hurt, don't worry~ These ghosts aren't tough enough to take me down. Where are you? Are you safe?

[ So yes, she's completely fine. Unharmed, at least. But she's heard that the ghosts have been getting into technology, and Ene being... well, Ene, of course she's worried. ]

[EXCELLENT. Mary is with people who will protect her and staying home and that's exactly what she should be doing. The electronics is a little worrying, but thankfully Ene has been able to deal with most of those. Some might be getting the better of her, but as soon as they enter her turf she can defend herself on equal footing.]
